About ME

IMG_5970.jpeg

My hometown is Baltimore, Maryland where I was born and raised for my life. I attended Chesapeake High School STEM Academy in Essex, Maryland where I truly took hold of the opportunity to develop my initial hands-on education in each component of STEM. Upon my senior year at Chesapeake during my college application season, I applied for the prestigious University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Meyerhoff Scholars Program and fortunately by the grace of God became the first Meyerhoff Scholar from my high school.

Attending UMBC for my undergraduate career has been a pivotal stepping stone into my post-baccalaureate education here at Old Dominion University. I am thankful for the communities at UMBC that have influenced me greatly in whom I have become: UMBC Meyerhoff Scholars Program, UMBC Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program, and the Nu Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Through these communities, I have done many community service projects (to be highlighted in future publishments of this e-portfolio).

My past current goals consisted of finishing my Doctoral Bridge Program for Summer 2021 and preparing to finish my final semester at UMBC. This upcoming Fall semester, I will be taking my final four (4) major courses for Information Systems which are: Database Application Development, Decision Support Systems, Structure System Analysis/Design, Network Design & Management. I am looking forward to learning more about how these courses will impact my current studies as I transition into my Ph.D. program.
