My overarching research interests entail human-computer interaction and data science focusing on techniques of machine learning for data analytics of wearable devices to detect, analyze, and diagnose diseases.

My goals to transition into biomedical research in academia would most likely consist of becoming well-recognized in my field for my work, applying for a faculty position at a university to pursue tenure, and establishing my own laboratory so that I can host students from my home institution and others around the country.
